I will look back on my experience in BBYO and remember it as being a time when I found my voice and my identity. Allyson Willner, Youngstown, OH
BBYO provides exciting opportunities for Jewish high school students to get involved locally, nationally and internationally. Whether you are interested in making new friends, leading your peers in a chapter, lending a hand in your community or traveling to Israel, you will find experiences of a lifetime here in BBYO. Here are just some of the ways that you can get involved:
Join Our Movement!
As a member of BBYO you will be a part of the world's leading trans-denominational Jewish youth movement, which will connect you to tens of thousands of Jewish teens from around the globe. You will have the opportunity to guide your peers in democratically functioning chapters (through Aleph Zadik Aleph for young men or B'nai B'rith Girls for teenage girls), to learn the true meaning of fraternity and sisterhood, and most important, to have fun. Chapters and the region in which they operate have a wide range of programs including social activities, community service projects, political action events, fraternity and sisterhood programs, in addition to BBYO's Judaic enrichment programming. Learn to Lead!
Escape from your daily routine to an experience completely different from anything you've encountered before - to a place where you call the shots. At BBYO, you are empowered to lead your peers and serve your community because all of our programs are teen-led. That means that all of the programs from the chapter level through the international level are planned and executed by teens like you! Leadership opportunities in BBYO range from organizing a community concert, planning a convention get a way, coordinating a Shabbat weekend for Jewish teens in your area to planning an international summer program or developing community service projects overseas. The possibilities are endless.
Experience Summer with BBYO!
